Pendant Necklaces by Swallow Jewellery
All of Swallow Jewellery’s pieces are handmade using a silver clay called PMC3 which, when used with a kiln, provides 99% fine silver. After kiln firing, Sterling Silver findings are added to each item using classic silversmith techniques.
From the beaches of Tofino to the blooming gardens of Victoria, each creation is imprinted with a piece of the Island for you to wear wherever life takes you.

Shoko and Nicky are the beach-combing silversmiths behind Swallow Jewellery. Since 2013, they’ve been creating hand-crafted jewellery for Victoria locals and visitors alike.
Shoko came to Victoria after graduating high school in Japan and Nicky moved to the city from Northern Alberta when she was eight years old. Once they got to the Island, neither of them ever looked back.
Since then, they’ve been basking in Vancouver Island’s one-of-a-kind beauty and collecting a lot of cherished stories along the way.
Shoko fell in love with silversmithing after taking classes with a local teacher around 2010 and worked her way up to the advanced level. Eventually, she dragged Nicky along to retake the beginner class with her.
As Shoko grew her silversmith skillset and learned to work with silver clay, she started imprinting nature objects. One of Swallow Jewellery’s most popular original prints today is made from a whale bone that was on display at Pearson College where Shoko took a silver clay course.
In 2017, Nicky decided to leave her city bus driver job, so Shoko asked her to join the brand full-time. While they were expecting a temporary summer arrangement, Nicky never stopped.
Today, they work together on every aspect of running and creating Swallow Jewellery out of their 100 sq ft home studio. They’re usually joined by their two dogs, Cooper and Chai, who oversee quality control.
