"Some places you've been, some sights you've seen invade your memory and take your imagination captive. For me such a place is a small, still lake in the high solitudes of the Rocky Mountains.
I gasped my way up, up, and up.... Suddenly I stood at the edge of a dream, taking in a vision of a perfect jewel. The ceaseless grinding of the glaciers had hollowed the ancient bedrock and filled this scuplted bowl with layers of silt-laden water... water in colours I never seen or imagined before.
These jewellery colours recall to me the experience of that day -- these colores are not just expressions of style. Some colours touch a chord in your heart that plays the music that moves you."
