Brett is a local artist from Victoria, B.C. His quote is "just a guy making stuff". The name of his company is "I Think That Wood Work". He has created beautiful pieces of functional art with wood and made with ecopoxy foodsafe epoy and finished with beeswax and mineral oil for some water protection.⠀
Most of his boards are finished with a food grade mineral oil bath and top coated with a beeswax and mineral oil finish for a soft sheen and some moisture protection. Hand wash only with minimal soap as to preserve the finish on it. Once water no longer beads up on the surface it is time to reapply with more mineral oil or a oil/wax blend.
