Agnes Seaweed Wisden - Sea Wisdom Design

There are many generations of creative makers in Agnes' lineage as a Kwakwaka’wakw and British woman. Her traditional name is łlilawikw and translates as Gatherer of the People.

Sea Wisdom Design is a space she uses to form relationships with deep meaning through symbols, imagery, and a desire to connect. She has discovered the power this art has to heal and connect to those who feel the same love for the land, ocean, and culture of the coast that we all share.

Agnes' work ranges from traditional West Coast designs to her wonderful abstract interpretations of these culturally significant symbols.
