Being a teacher married to a golf pro, my summer holidays always took me to the links. With plenty of down time, I would sit on the patio of the clubhouse making earrings and necklaces while hubby practiced. So in between “loopin’ it”, which refers to caddying on the golf course, I returned to my love of creating and a hobby that started when I was young – jewelry making. That is how Loops came to be.

Now I am able to put into action what others told me for a long time: “you should really sell your jewellery.” I used to teach in a middle school so I have left that career for the time being. I have two children so have decided to stay at home and be Mom for now and I fit in jewellery making while they are at school or after they have gone to sleep!

I also love being at local artisan and other markets where I get to showcase my creations and meet people who love beautiful things, too.
